‘Best of the Bay’ St. Leo Segment to Air Dec. 12

The wait is finally over St. Leo the Great! The feature segment on the school is scheduled to air (shown on TV) this weekend on KRON4.

Back in October, the crew for the television program “Best of the Bay” spent most of the day at St. Leo’s to film footage of students and teachers interacting during a normal school day. Now everyone will get to see the final product on TV, which will include an interview with principal Sonya Simril, speaking about what makes the school so… great!

St. Leo’s was nominated as “Best Grade School (K-8)” in Oakland for 2010 by the producers of Best of the Bay TV. (See OCT 2010 story by 7th grader Saba Kinfe: “St. Leo the Great is One of S.F. Bay’s Best Schools“).

The video segment featuring the school will be shown Sunday, 12/12 at 8:30p on KRON4. Be sure to tune in!
