Accidental Fire Alarm Pull Ends Christmas Concert Early

The annual Christmas Concert was on the night of Thursday, December 11th. Everything was going well until a disruption. The concert couldn’t be finished and was ended without the finale or the Praise Dancers performing.
The concert was ended early because the fire alarm was accidentally pulled by a small child.
This all took place in our very own church. The fire alarm set off right after 7th grader Zoey Ward finished singing her solo. The alarm was very loud and no one knew how to turn it off.
The show couldn’t go on because of the noise, so after the incident everybody just left. Thankfully no one was hurt or got injured, and there wasn’t a real fire. Unfortunately, the concert was not finished.
The song that was going to be sung at the finale was “Felíz Navidad” and “We Wish you a Merry Christmas.” The Praise Dancers will perform their part of the concert on Wednesday, December 17th, in a special show during the school day in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Hi Ida,
Thank you for writing this article. I think there were a lot of rumors going around about what happened that night! I’m so glad that you reported what happened. Despite the fire alarm getting pulled, it was a wonderful concert.
Take care,
