‘Speak Out!’ Survey Results: NOV 2010

The Lion Ledger had a poll last month on what we should add to the newspaper. The poll was titled “What new feature would you like to see added?”

Three of the choices were real answers: advice column, comics, and puzzles. One of the choices was more playful, but people could vote on it if they wanted to. We put “make the stories come alive like in ‘Harry Potter’” because last month the new movie came out.

(In one of the Harry Potter films, a newspaper magically changed stories on the front page and the people in the photos were alive).

264 people voted in the poll. The winner was the advice column, second place was comics, third place was make the stories come alive, and fourth places was puzzles.

We started this poll because we wanted to add new things to the newspaper but we wanted to know what readers thought and let people pick what we should put in. We are thinking about what we will actually add and let you know soon.
