7th Grade Play in Honor of Cesar Chavez

St. Leo the Great’s seventh grade class honored Cesar Chavez last month by putting on a play for the student body. The seventh grade painted and created a set and made their own props for the play where they re-enacted scenes from Cesar Chavez’s life.

Every student had a part in the play, whether it was acting as a main character or an extra in the background, or a crew member such as narrator or set design. Spanish teacher Ms. Antonia Hicks also included the second and third grade classes in the production by having them sing “De Colores.”

**NOTE: See “Videos & Multimedia” section for a short video clip from the play.
