What Our Family Does for Thanksgiving

I think Thanksgiving is great because you get to spend time with your family. My family likes Thanksgiving because they get to spend time with the whole family.

For Thanksgiving we get together at my Aunt Saba’s house. For the meal we eat a turkey, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, cornbread, and more. My aunt Saba makes all of the food. Sometimes my mom Helen helps.

My favorite is the mac and cheese because my aunt makes it real well.

We play games, watch movies, and tell stories. Sometimes we even go outside and play at the park. My family loves to play basketball, and I do too. We also play video games. Maybe this year we will play the Nintendo Wii.

I am thankful for my family because they are nice to me and I love them.
