Faculty & Staff Share Thanksgiving Thoughts

Next week is Thanksgiving and we wanted to know what the teachers and staff are thankful for this year, so we went around the school to ask them, “What are You Thankful for this Year?”

(Note: listed in order that they were interviewed; not all teachers and staff were available for during the interview)

• Mr. Ha, Kindergarten instructional aide, is thankful for St. Leo students, family, and friends.
• Mrs. Murphy, 2nd grade teacher, is thankful for all her grandsons, health, and her friends.
• Mrs. Brown, instructional assistant, is thankful for her family and health.
• Mrs. Cross, student services coordinator (in the office), is thankful for family.
• Ms. Ditto, extended care staff, is thankful for all the beautiful things in life, great food, and the people she loves.
• Ms. Antonia, Spanish teacher, is thankful for family, her job, friends, and our new president, Barack Obama.
• Ms. Phillips, 6th grade homeroom teacher, is thankful for a loving family, sometimes her students, and her health.
• Ms. Eichelberger, secretary, is thankful for her son and other family members, a caring St. Leo community, and to see an African-American president.
• Ms. Lewis, 1st grade teacher, is thankful for the health of her family and friends, and her St. Leo’s community.
• Ms. Michael, 4th grade teacher, is thankful for her family, happiness, and her health.
• Mrs. Cephas, 3rd grade teacher, is thankful for a week of vacation.
• Ms. Robb, 5th grade teacher, is thankful for a wonderful healthy family, her son Spencer, her husband Russ, and her new baby (coming soon!).
• Ms. Altheimer, extended care director, is thankful for good health, family, and the St. Leo students and their families.
• Mrs. Karabinis (”Ms. K”), 8th grade teacher, is thankful for her St. Leo’s family who are caring, thoughtful, and loving.
