We’re sure you are all very excited about Halloween this year, but you have to remember when you’re having fun, to be safe! If you’re out trick-or-treating this year, or anything else, use these tips to stay safe.

Don’t ever run off somewhere by yourself when you’re in a big group or when you are just with your parent. It can be dangerous if you do! Always stay with your adult especially if it’s night!

When you’re out trick-or-treating, make sure to not talk to adults you don’t know and stick with your parent. If a stranger approaches you, don’t talk to them just walk away and find your adult! This is a very important part in being safe on Halloween!

It can be dangerous if you just go ahead and eat your candy that you got from a person you don’t even know. When you get home and start eating candy, always check it out to see any suspicious holes, and if they are open. If so, it would be smart of you to not eat it. You shouldn’t take dangerous risks!

Also, be aware that there is a chance of rain scheduled for Halloween so bring an umbrella and something to keep you warm. Have fun!
